With all the hype over the Nokia N97 mini, X6 and X3, we almost forgot to tell you about the two Bluetooth headset models, the BH-505 and BH-607 and the new MD-9 speakers. Let´s get started with the latter. The MD-9 is among the very few gadgets that allow you to take the party with you and get it in the open or to a place with no electricity. At the same time, the set is really compact and easy to carry around in your pocket. Nokia promises that the two AAA batteries the MD-9 takes will be able to provide 50hrs of continuous audio playback and that the MD-9 will bring powerful sound through its omni-directional 30mm tweeter. The Nokia N97 mini leaked a long time ago and it was about time it got officially announced. The official announcement brought no surprises – the N97 mini sports a smaller 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen with 640×360 resolution, 3-row full QWERTY tilting keyboard (this time without the D-pad), a 5 megapixel camera (Carl Zeiss optics) with VGA@30fps recording and dual LED flash, 8 GB internal storage, FM radio and microSD card slot. The connectivity package is as full as usual – 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack and TV-out.

N900 is a continuation of Nokia Nseries tablets. This time they’ve stepped out of the ultra portable computing turf and have ventured in the territory of Nokia Communicators.

Running on the new Linux-based Maemo 5 OS, the Nokia N900 power lies in the capable multi-tasking, which should make it stand out even among the ranks of the Symbian smartphones. According to Nokia reps, however, the new Maemo device is not meant to compete with the Nokia Symbioan smartphones, but instead cater for different market needs.

Today Nokia unveiled the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition – a full GPS-centric variant of the Nokia 5800 XpresMusic. Using the momentum gained by the original XpressMusic handset, the new gadget matches the functionality of its predecessor almost perfectly. The main differences are the added lifetime Drive and Walk navigation license and the cool looking stand and car charger that allow you to easily use the phone as an in-car SatNav unit.

There’s only one other difference compared to the original model according to the data sheet of the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition. It will be available in Chrome and Black color combo rather than any of the two-colored versions of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. » Read more: Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition

Mobile Den thinks we may have just seen the future. We’ve just been privy to an exclusive demo of a new device called the Powermat. The said device enables up to four mobile phones to be charged at any one time without the need for plugging them in. Simply place them on the Powermat (which granted is plugged in itself) and watch your juice levels gets topped up. Although the impressively svelte mat is customised for the iPhone and BlackBerry devices, customers can also purchase the Powermat Powercube which comes with a host of tips that enables you to connect other handsets from the likes of Sony Ericsson, LG, Nokia and Samsung via mini USB. Could this really be the end of each handset having it’s own unique charger?
