Actually, the percentage of people who don´t have a cell phone is rapidly decreasing or that´s what a survey conducted by EITO (European Information Technology Observatory) reveals. The number of people who don´t take advantage of the technology is expected to drop below 2.4bln or about one sixth of the Earth´s population by the end of 2009

Some time ago we reported that HTC was probably developing a new smartphone called Leo that was initially thought to be a clamshell handset like the HTC Universal. A later rumor had it the HTC Leo and HTC Thoth (the supposed successor to the HTC Advantage X7510) were actually one and the same device. Now, there is a new spin to story. An htcpedia forum member has sent a picture of a device to the forum moderators that he claims to be the HTC Leo. This has led to yet more speculations that the device will actually be a slider phone. Sooner or later, we will find out whether or not this is the case indeed. In addition, a list of specifications has been attached to the picture as well and they seem to be exactly the same as indicated by the initial rumor. The device will supposedly feature 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8250 chipset (Snapdragon), 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen with native resolution of 480×800 pixels, 3G support, 512MB ROM and 320MB RAM memory, 8-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and accelerometer.
